Ode to Neutrality
by A. Lo’vhenas
Why is it that
rain is the sister of depression?
How come
the sun is the emblem of joy?
Raindrops are tears from the sky
and the grey
is like mind-fog,
vast and heavy;
while the gold of the sun
and its brilliant light
bring warmth,
delight and ease.
Yet isn’t it true
that life ends on sunny days, too,
and that water
is the one to cleanse our stains?
